I provide expert business advice to help companies grow, thrive and enjoy a better bottom line. For the past few months I’ve been working on a large project for a North East based industrial power tool service company. Family owned and run, they had become well known for never saying “no” to their customers, a strategy that had landed them in a remarkable position with a highly diverse range of products and services.
The fine art of making something great work even better
The business hired me to assist with the separation into, and launch of, a group of companies: six in total covering power tools, plant hire, facilities management, training, security and industrial bolting. The latter was a brand new sector, while the others sold products and services already provided by the original company. I was also tasked with raising the profile of the group by way of marketing, driven by a carefully-produced marketing strategy and schedule. And with establishing a brand new industrial bolting division, including client base and suppliers.
Grab a slice of expert business advice
There’s nothing quite so satisfying as taking an already-great business and helping to make it even better. One of the most important things I bring to the party, according to my clients, is the ability to see the wood for the trees, spot fresh opportunities and make the most of existing ones. This latest project tapped into exactly that, and now I’m busy looking for the next opportunity.
There are a couple of exciting irons in the fire, and I’m talking to some really interesting people. So if you’d like a slice of me, grab me while you can!
